Every Voice Matters: Solutions in Action at Climate Week NYC

This September, 11th Hour Racing brought partners, ambassadors, and innovators together at Climate Week NYC to share ideas, spark collaboration, and turn vision into action.
As co-title sponsor of The Nest Climate Campus, we created a hub for dialogue and collaboration. Our ambassadors, including members of the POW Water Alliance, joined panels, shared expertise, and explored solutions that connect communities, ecosystems, and supply chains. Alongside them, our team visited the Billion Oyster Project on Governors Island, one of our grantees, witnessing firsthand how hands-on restoration efforts are rebuilding marine ecosystems and strengthening coastal communities.
Building on that momentum, our partners took center stage at The Nest Climate Campus to showcase solutions shaping a more sustainable future. VELA unveiled its 100% wind-powered transatlantic freight service, cutting carbon emissions by up to 99% while keeping pace with modern supply chain demands. Moderated by Jeremy Pochman, Co-founder and CEO of 11th Hour Racing, the discussion highlighted what true decarbonization looks like for global logistics.
We also launched the POW Water Alliance with Protect Our Winters, uniting athletes, scientists, and advocates to protect the planet’s most critical resource. The launch, “Snow to Water: United for Action,” sparked conversation about the link between mountains, rivers, and the ocean, demonstrating how local action can create global impact.
Our grantee Center for EcoTechnology (CET) brought the focus to the individual and community level. President & CEO Ashley Muspratt shared how CET’s 50-year legacy of hands-on solutions empowers people, businesses, and communities to take measurable climate action. Their session, “You, Me, and 300 Million Others: Decarbonization Has No Shortcuts,” reminded us that real progress begins one decision at a time.
Through sponsorship, site visits, panel discussions, and ambassador engagement, 11th Hour Racing demonstrated the power of connection and collective action. From restoring ecosystems with the Billion Oyster Project to driving innovation with partners like VELA and POW, Climate Week NYC showed that collaborative efforts can turn ideas into momentum for a more sustainable future.
