At 11th Hour Racing, we know the ocean is under threat. It needs our protection, so we choose to be a voice for everything that lives within it.

Why do we race so far from shore, between the stars and the miles of deep below?

Eyes burning with salt, we taste each crashing wave over our bow.

In storms and on the stillest nights, we are witness to a vast wilderness.

Our respect for the ocean grows deeper with each crossing.

We know the ocean is under threat, and we choose to be a voice for everything that lives within it.

We are in a race to save everything that lives beneath our boats.

This is for The Race Below — a race against time to save the ocean that gives our planet life.

SEagrass

Seagrass stores carbon 35 times faster than the Amazon rainforest.

Seagrass is a carbon storing champion. Due to human activity though, two football fields of it are destroyed every hour. Click the audio button to learn how it is crucial in fighting climate change.

Our mission

11th Hour Racing works to mobilize sports, maritime, and coastal communities with an innovative approach to inspire solutions for the ocean. 11th Hour Racing promotes collaborative, systemic change through three primary areas of engagement: sponsorships, grantees and ambassadors.

Under the 11th Hour Racing umbrella, activities are provided through 11th Hour Racing, Inc., which serves as the impact entity and provides programmatic direction to its philanthropic partners, including 11th Hour Racing Charitable, LLC, which engages in charitable work, and 11th Hour Racing Action, LLC, which engages in social welfare programs and advocacy.
