From the depths of the ocean to the towering heights of a 3,000-meter mountain peak, the ocean's presence weaves through our lives, connecting us all like a delicate strand of azure silk.

To celebrate this profound connection, we brought together an internationally acclaimed freediver, a world-champion freeskier, and the best offshore sailing team in the world.

"Rhythm of Water" is an artistic film, delving into the symbiotic relationship between athletes who constantly push their limits and the natural environment that surrounds them.

Rhythm of Water

Featuring an original score by Todd Hannigan and devoid of dialogue, the film dances with a meditative rhythm, capturing the fluidity of being present in the moment. It serves as a reflection on the interconnectedness of our world, intricately tied to the health of the oceanic marvel that unites us all. As each viewer experiences the film, it evokes a unique tapestry of emotions, offering a refreshing pause in the midst of life's cacophony.

Todd Hannigan

"The film makes me want to get outside. It makes me want to care about the ocean and the environment."

Through a beautifully choreographed fusion of sailing, freediving, and skiing, "Rhythm of Water" aims to ignite, provoke, and captivate us, prompting a fresh perspective on our world and our choices. This is the sister film of 11th Hour Racing’s documentary, “Shaped by Water.”

Ian Walsh, big wave surfer “As athletes, ocean health and sustainability are at the heart of what we do – without the ocean, we wouldn’t be here.”

Steve Benjamin, filmmaker “I really want people to fall in love with the ocean, to appreciate it more, and to try to alter their behavior around it. Everything ends up in the ocean, and it’s such a dumping ground for humanity. My hope is that people see the ocean as a living entity that needs to be protected.”

Amory Ross, storyteller “How can I describe the ocean? The ocean is impossible to describe because it is endless; it is full of life, wonder, and mystery.”
